インデックスは後から貼り付けたのではなく、文字盤の裏側から打ち出して立体的に仕上げているのがレリーフの特徴です。
また一見フラットに見える文字盤には細かなギョーシェ彫りが施されており、光の加減で様々な表情を見せてくれます。
The "Long Island" is a modern interpretation of the Art Deco design popular in the 1920s.
The indexes are not pasted on afterwards, but are hammered out from the backside of the dial to create a three-dimensional finish, a characteristic of relief.
